LEGACY

Within me lies words unsaid,

As fear shuts my mouth and gifts me with a pen instead.

But like a perfume leaves behind a scent,

I want a part of me to stay here on earth.

From the beginning,

A purpose was placed in me.

As everything on this earth was created with intention,

I was created to live my legacy with intention.

As radiant as the stars in the sky,

I want my light to shine bright.

Having an array of unheard beauties in my heart,

I'm compelled to live every day as though it were my last.

Emptying my heart before the whole world

And not holding back, even for a second.

Every moment is a blessing

And I hope to spend them writing a life-changing story.

My life is my story

And I hope to write one that will be remembered in all history.
